CRYPTOBIOSIS

Through five mass extinctions, they managed to survive
Adapted and invisible, their species always thrive
In extreme environments, they cannot be destroyed
In new ecosystems they are the first to exploit
Out of the Earth, they survived the vacuum of the alter space
Microscopic machines programmed to prevail in hostile ways
Secular hibernation to wait for the perfect conditions
Not even time can be for them a strong opposition

Cryptobiosis… Along decades
Radiation… It’s not enough to decay
Intriguing animals… Microscopic amazing creatures
Millions of years old… species of aliens in nature

Through the Cambrian Era to the very present day
In all biomes, water bears have found their way
They were already here so long before we arrive
They’ll still be here after no one of us is alive

Study objects… they’re burn, frozen and sent to the moon
A suspicious accident. Out there they are able to come through
The collision sprat many of them on the dead satellite
Still alive in a new environment they’ll colonize

Cryptobiosis… Along decades

Surrounded by this lack of atmosphere
Never to be found, they easily disappear
Evolution has enable them to adapt
To any environment that they can connect (to)

Time is not their biggest threat
But a potential allied to empower this species even more
Genetic mutation can build a flawless machine of war
