ENSLAVEMENT PANDEMIC

A new organism hides inside human cells
Taking control of their host like a witchery spell
Asymptomatic, began the quiet contamination
In the air, spreads the obliteration

Soon enough a new kind of flu was everywhere
As the bodies piled up no one seemed to care
But then unnatural behaviors started to appear
Unexplainable proliferated fear

Silence reigned absolute in the early days
A renewal of the Earth was taking place
A symbiotic fungal virus was pulling the strings
Of the humans and the planet since it all began

It sprat the evil till our lives were drained
Unable to express, and yet there was a lot of pain
The extinction came to us slow and miserably
We spread their seeds and they feed from us vociferously.

A fungal virus from space
Manipulating our race
We’re rooted in the floor
We’re doomed to spread their spores

Slaves of what we can’t see
We are trapped like dead trees
